About
Currently based in Brooklyn, New York, Naomi Fuhrer is a sculptor and book maker studying at Pratt Institute. Born and raised in Boston Massachusetts, she takes inspiration from her artistic upbringing, where she learned to see the fantasy in everyday life. Through fiber, ceramics, and hand bound collaged books, she illustrates interwoven narratives of humans, animals and machines. Naomi works with self-referential motifs and imagery to connect her work across many disciplines. She is committed to creating curious creatures that are just as eager to explore their world as she is.
